Kiambu Senator Karungo Thangwa has been urged to apologize to EACC witness Abdi Mahmoud during a recent Senate session.
This request came as Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was assigned to pose questions to Mahmoud regarding allegations against him.
Senate Speaker Amason Kingi emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating, “Honourable senators, when you are given an opportunity to seek clarification or ask a question, it is not a moment to get a TikTok clip. This is a very serious matter. Let us not embarrass ourselves.”
Additionally, Nakuru Senator Tabitha Karanja expressed her disapproval of Thangwa’s statements, highlighting the need for decorum and respect in such serious proceedings.
