After a humbling defeat at Yaoundé, Cameroon on Friday, the Harambee Stars will have the stage today to recover points in the return meet at Mandela Stadium in Uganda.

Engin Firat-coached side faces a daunting task as they take on Indomitable Lions, the five-time African Champions, from 4pm in an empty stadium.

Last week Cameroon beat the Stars 4-1 in the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers.

On Group J chart, Cameroon is leading with seven points followed by Zimbabwe with five and Kenya side third with four points and Namibia is last without any point.

A win for Cameroon will put them on the verge of AFCON qualification, while a victory for Kenya would keep their qualification hopes alive.

At Yaoundé, Harambee Stars displayed poor show, giving Cameroon a lead through penalty and subsequent three goals were due to goalkeeping errors.

It is said Kenya opted not to allow fans inside, fearing that Ugandan supporters might attend to cheer for Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana and Cameroon, similar to what happened during a previous match against Zimbabwe.
