Cristiano Ronaldo has officially tied knot with his longtime girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez at a civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 attended by their five children.
The couple has been together since 2016 after meeting in Madrid. The wedding was conducted at a civil registry office in Cascais. Ronaldo and Georgina have shared on their Instagram page showing their hands adorned with wedding rings, captioned “C & G.”
They first met at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Georgina worked as a sales assistant. In 2017, their relationship became public, with Georgina becoming a central figure in Ronaldo’s life, supporting him through his career and family life.
In August 2025, Ronaldo proposed to Georgina and together have raised their five children. Georgina being an influence, has balanced her life and Ronaldo’s career, with her being a model, entrepreneur and a star of the Netflix reality series “I Am Georgina.”
Ronaldo has nearly scored nearly 1,000 goals in his career, in which he has played for Lisbon-based Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus, Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia and Portugal. He recently played in his sixth World Cup, a record for appearances in the men’s finals which he shares with Lionel Messi of Argentina.
