A coordinated multi-agency crackdown has led to the arrest of 51 suspected members of the notorious Panga Boys gang in Kisauni sub-county. The security operation targeted criminal hotspots, including Corner Ya Kisauni, Jocham Hospital, Barisheba, Sunlight, Mwandoni, Junda, Cobra, and Kadongo Grounds.
Authorities also seized five tuk-tuks believed to be used in phone-snatching incidents, a growing concern among residents.
The arrested suspects have been taken to Mjambere Police Station, where they are being processed ahead of their court appearance. Law enforcement officials have vowed to continue the operation to dismantle criminal networks and restore safety in the region.
Police are urging residents to report any suspicious activity as they intensify efforts to eliminate gang-related crime in Kisauni.
