Content creator Eve Mungai has revealed that her ex-boyfriend, Director Trevor, once had control over her Instagram account and imposed strict limits on her social media activity, including dictating the number of people she could follow.
During an interview with fellow content creator Lydia Wanjiru, Mungai opened up about the toxic dynamics of her past relationship, explaining why she had unfollowed Lydia. She shared that her ex-boyfriend insisted she keep her followers under 200 and even demanded she unfollow Lydia, claiming she was “not beautiful.”
“He would unfollow many of my followers, and he told me not to follow more than 200 people,” Mungai revealed. “He also insisted that I unfollow you because you’re not beautiful.”
Lydia, who had been unfollowed by Mungai shortly after predicting that her relationship would end, reflected on the incident and noted how quickly things changed.
