Junior Starlets’ coach, Mildred Cheche, has announced the squad for their upcoming second-round qualifier for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup against Uganda.
The first leg will take place on March 8 at Nakivubo Stadium in Kampala.
The selected squad includes a mix of emerging talents and experienced players from the previous qualification campaign.
Coach Cheche has expressed confidence in her team, highlighting their motivation and readiness for the challenge ahead.
“The girls are feeling motivated and ready for the match. We’ve prepared well, we’re in high spirits, and the team is set to perform,” said Cheche.
The Junior Starlets are scheduled to depart for Uganda on March 6, with the return leg set for March 16 in Nairobi.
