R&B singer Chris Brown has declared himself the king of music industry on his Instagram saying he wants no one’s approval or “fake love” and hates the music industry’s circus.
“Not a single artist on this planet can compete with me on my worst day,” Brown said.
Brown claimed he’s done being nice and is ready to play the villain. He did not mention names or explain what triggered the rant but the whole industry catching strays.
He posted unapologetic filled expletives and blunt declarations.
“I’m not your friend. I’m not your buddy. I don’t like majority of you. I don’t want your approval…you will no longer be able to be around me,” he added.
Brown’s comments come after he and Usher were on the receiving end of a pair of legislative honors from the U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett and state Rep. Venton Jones during the recent R&B tour stop at AT & T Stadium.
Regardless of how one feels about him, no one has denied that he’s talented and his presence in music has been felt for well over two decades.
His career has at times been overshadowed by his legal troubles, like his altercation with Rihanna in 2009, which spiraled into a series of subsequent arrests and charges that made him appear in courtrooms.
In 2021, he was arrested for domestic dispute at his California residence; the prosecutors never filed charges citing insufficient evidence.
Despite the controversies, Brown boasts 125 career titles on the Billboard Hot 100, including 17 top 10s and 13 top 10s on the Billboard 200.
