David Ndakwa’s quest to clinch the Malava MP seat has received a heavy boost after being endorsed by Abatovo, the largest clan in the Kabras community.
Ndakwa, who is vying on the President William Ruto-led UDA party, was backed by 500 members of the clan to succeed the late MP Malulu Injendi in the mini-poll slated for November 27.
After the declaration, Ndakwa, who was flanked by Kakamega Deputy Governor Ayub Savula and President William Ruto’s PA Farouk Kibet, launched the Malava-Ikoli road in Kabras East before addressing hundreds of supporters at Shilongo trading center in Kabras South Ward.
The MP hopeful said he is determined to see women and youth empowered, including getting the residents better health services, infrastructure and education.
