Australia secured a goal of 2-0 victory over Kenya in the FIFA Series 2026 fixture played at the Nyayo National Stadium in Nairobi on Wednesday 15th April, in a match that exited visitors and fans across the nation.
The International FIFA Series tournament featuring teams from different confederations in Africa, placed Kenya on the strong side against Australia team which is known for its high- intensity pressing and structured attacking.
From the opening of the game until the end, Australia dictated possession and controlled the entire match, forcing Kenya into deep defensive tactics. The Kenya Harambe Starlets showed resilience as they tried to maintain the ball on the field while creating clear scoring opportunities.
In the first half, the Australian team scored their first goal from Sam Kerr, who took advantage of a defensive lapse, while Clare Wheeler made the second goal that made secured their victory at Nyayo Stadium.
