Kenyan personality Akoth Kokeyo has opened up about her years-long health battle, recounting an extremely personal experience that touched the hearts of numerous fans on social media.

“I no longer scream, struggle, or take unnecessary stress. My peace is my prescription. My calm is my survival.”

Akoth also posted about women quietly suffering pain behind their smiles in her post, assuring them that they are not damaged they are in the process of becoming.
