The High Court has approved Agnes Kalekye Nguna, Chairperson of the Media Owners Association of Kenya, to take on the role of Managing Director at KBC.
Kalekye was appointed to this position earlier this year by former ICT Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo, but a prior court order had prevented her from assuming the role.
In September, the KBC Board announced that Florence Migunde would serve as the acting Managing Director following the conclusion of Paul Macharia’s term on September 19, 2024.
With a robust background in Kenya’s media industry, Kalekye has previously held significant positions, including Chairperson of the Media Owners Association and Chief Operating Officer at Radio Africa Group.
