Comedian and actor DJ Shiti has shared news of his late father Richard Ndebe Mbanda, who has passed away following a seven-year battle with cancer.
The comedian said his father died in the morning of September 17, sharing on his Instagram post.
“My old man joined his ancestors yesterday morning, after battling cancer for 7 years. One day cancer will also die,” DJ Shiti wrote.
He was a father, a grandfather, a mentor and a source of strength, whose memory will continue to inspire them. DJ Shiti, often spoke about the challenges of balancing his career and his father’s illness.
Fans, fellow comedians and friends have consoled with him.
