Nairobi is set to host one of the most anticipated gospel events of 2026, as three of Africa’s most celebrated Christian musicians- Israel Mbonyi, Mercy Chinwo and Moses Bliss are set to share the stage at Uhuru Park, Nairobi.
The three are expected to perform at Grace Encounter 2026, scheduled from September 26-27, with a free entry hosted by Grace Arena Ministries, led by Prophet David Owusu.
Confirming his presence in Kenya, Mbonyi was excited for his visit to Kenya, sharing the news on his social media page.
“Hamjambo Kenya!!! I will be in Nairobi at Uhuru Park for Grace Encounter 2026 this September,” Mbonyi wrote.
Mercy Chinwo and Moses Bliss are also set to feature at the two-day event alongside Pastor Poju Oyemade.
The two-day event is expected to bring together worshippers across the country. Kenyan politician Peter Salasya has welcomed the musicians, stating he is ready for the two-day event.
“On 26th and 27th September I am very much committed at Uhuru Park. I can’t miss this worship experience…Welcome to Kenya, Israel Mbonyi, once more,” Salasya said in a statement.
Other ministers and artists expected the event include Esther Wahome, Njoki Munyi, Daddy Owen, Jemimah Thiongo, Jimmy Gait, Everlyn Wanjiru, Wilberforce Musyoka and Pastor Percy B.D.M.
