UDA Secretary General Hassan Omar has defended President William Ruto amid ongoing anti-government demonstrations, urging critics to seek political change through the ballot in 2027 instead of protests.
Speaking during a press conference ,Omar said Kenyans must reject actions that destroy property and destabilize the country.
“We have gotten to that point in our lives where we must say enough is enough. Mnaharibu nchi throughout,” Hassan Omar said.
He questioned why those dissatisfied with President Ruto’s leadership could not wait for the next General Election if they believed he was unfit to lead the country.
“What has Ruto done to you that is so bad? If you sincerely feel he is incapable of leadership, why don’t you wait for 2027 and exercise your Constitutional right,” he stated.
