A family in Kiambu County is scared after unidentified persons allegedly invaded their 248-acre land and started demarcating without their permission.
The family spokesperson said the invaders were sent by some influential people thus raising the possibility of a coordinated attempt to grab the land.
This shocking incident has made the family members even more worried, lamenting that grabbers’ presence and their activities on the land are a clear threat to their ownership rights and security.
They are now calling upon the security agents to act quickly and do thorough investigation to ensure their land is protected from what they are calling an unlawful takeover.
This case is in line with the increasing worry of land disputes in the area, a situation that has been worsened by cases of alleged land grabbing which have continued to lead to tensions and court battles in different parts of the country.
