King’eero Police Station in Kabete has unveiled its latest administration block, which is a public-private partnership initiative that is set to ease congestion and improve service delivery.
The administration block was officially opened by Kabete Sub-County Police Commander Mr. Peter Kimotho and Fireside Group CEO Rebecca Wanjiku on Thursday, February 27.
The development is a result of a partnership between King’eero Police Station and Fireside Group Engineering Solutions.
In recent times, King’eero and its surrounding environments have been experiencing rapid population growth, which has made it difficult for the police station to accommodate its population.
The administration block now hosts the Deputy OCS office, Anti-Crime, and Petty Crime departments, which will now be able to operate effectively without having to operate under cramped conditions.
In his speech during the ceremony, the Sub-County Police Commander hailed the new development as a meaningful step towards providing high-quality service to Kenyans. He noted that good infrastructure is vital for top-notch service.
Rebecca Wanjiku, the CEO of Fireside Group, was present at the ceremony and commended the partnership with King’eero Police Station as part of the organization’s ongoing efforts towards supporting Kenyans. She noted that partnering with other entities is vital towards filling the gaps that exist.
The event brought together most of the staff from under the Sub-County Police Commander. Some of the prominent individuals present included King’eero Police Station OCS Francis Mberia, Muguga Police Station OCS Samwel Khaemba, and Uthiru Police Station OCS Isaac Simotwo.
The development, although seemingly minor, is crucial for the operations of King’eero Police Station, which serves a large number of Kenyans.
