The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has intensified its grassroots electorate sensitization campaign in Kirinyaga County ahead of the repeat elections scheduled for March 7.

The repeat exercise follows elections held last month in some polling stations that reportedly failed to meet minimum requirements, including voter turnout and demographic thresholds.

According to Kirinyaga Govenor Anne Waiguru, the forums aim to enhance civic education and member participation.

Party trainers involved in the exercise say the elections will be conducted electronically across all the polling centres. The deadline for aspirant registration is slated for 21st February 2026

Party officials have indicated that the new polls are intended to focus on inclusivity, transparency, and compliance with internal electoral guidelines.
