Kisumu Young Professionals are now pushing for the Nomination of Homabay Governor Gladys Wanga to deputise President William Ruto in 2027
The lobby group vehemently endorsed Hon Gladys Wanga to be at the helm of county’s leadership ahead of 2027, calling on other regions to support the move.
“We are asking the Luo nation to stand behind her as the first ever Luo woman to turn up for the position of Deputy President,” said the Youth Lobby.
Their stance comes just a day after ODM Party leader Oburu Oginga confirmed that the party will not be looking to demand the position currently held by Kithure Kindiki.
