The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Leagues and Competitions Committee has awarded Mombasa United FC a victory in their National Super League fixture against Gucha Stars FC after the match failed to kick off as scheduled.
The game, which was slated for December 20, 2025, did not take place, leading to the matter being referred to the FKF Leagues and Competitions Committee for review.
Following a hearing held on Wednesday, the Committee examined reports from match officials, submissions from the involved parties, and all relevant documentation before reaching its verdict.
Citing Rule 21.1 of the FKF Rules and Regulations on Match Forfeits and Abandonment, the Committee ruled in favour of Mombasa United FC, awarding them the match on a three-point, two-goal basis.
The Committee noted that a detailed report explaining the decision will be issued within 21 days upon request.
