As Kenyans celebrated Mashujaa Day, content creator Kafengo took a moment to pay homage to a personal hero his late friend and comedian, KK Mwenyewe.
In the midst of celebration on social media, Kafengo paid homage to KK’s memory, remembering him for his sense of humour, his own unique style of comedy, and unmatched talent to make people smile on and off set.
”On this Mashujaa Day I would love to celebrate a Shujaa. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, comedy personality and for being always in the act of keeping others happy both on and off set. You will forever be remembered, my dear late brother and friend KK,” Kafengo wrote.
Kafengo then pledged that he would maintain KK’s spirit by pursuing content creation, embracing the lessons and advice that they shared in their relationship.
“To honor you, I will maintain content development, embracing your teachings and counsel in life. As we always shouted, ‘Comedy for life,’ ‘Ipo siku.’ Rest in peace KK,” he added.
Friends and fans thronged the post with heartfelt comments, congratulating the two for their relationship and celebrating KK Mwenyewe for his time-long impact on Kenya’s comedy scene.
