Businessmen and philanthropists in the country Dr. Manu Chandaria has paid a very warm tribute to the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, calling him a leader with keen insight whose worth to the country may, not be understood even after a long period of time.

While delivering his condolence message, Dr. Chandaria described Raila as a leader who saved love – selflessness, honesty, and love for peace, in his view, are increasingly less common in the political domain of the present world and these traits were embodied in the late leader.

“Raila was not merely a politician; he was a man with a vision and strong belief, out of which he put the interests of Kenya higher than his own. No one will be able to take his place in the future as, the first, one can think of his legacy of endurance and continuous seeking of justice,” said Chandaria.

He also claimed that Kenya will lack Raila’s leadership in the future and as a result, it will be difficult to find leaders who are as brave and as devoted to the country’s growth as Raila was.

Dr. Chandaria’s tribute is among the many trkibutes by prominent people from home and abroad, who mourn the passing of Odinga and call him to be remembered for his lifelong fight for democracy, unity, and equality.
