ICT Cabinet Secretary William Kabogo has praised young Kenyans for their creativity and innovation, saying the government is determined to support youth-focused initiatives that drive talent and entrepreneurship.
Speaking during a visit to the Mt Kenya Hub in Nyeri, Kabogo singled out George Njenga, a young artist who transforms waste materials into stunning works of art.
“George’s creativity is a reminder that innovation can flourish anywhere when young people are given the right environment to explore their ideas and sharpen their skills,” the CS said.

Kabogo noted that innovation hubs across the country are providing vital spaces for youth to connect, collaborate, and pursue their dreams.
He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting private hubs while rolling out 1,450 state-backed hubs nationwide to unlock the full potential of Kenya’s young population.
