Two police officers died at Ng’iya Police Post in Alego Usonga Constituency, Siaya County on Sunday morning after a suspected dispute.
According to a police report, a Constable Martin Mwendwa reportedly shot dead his superior Corporal Chesise, who was the officer in charge of the station.
Mwendwa reportedly mentally disturbed shot his senior on the chest and on his hands, several times, killing him on the spot.
After committing the crime, he attempted to flee towards Ng’iya Girls High School while shooting indiscriminately in the air but was shot dead by his colleagues.
