Veteran Tanzanian artist Juma Mkambala, popularly known as Juma Jux, has revealed details of the powerful bond that prompted him to marry Nigerian influencer Priscillia Ojo just days after they met. Currently in Kenya, Jux shared his heartfelt story during a televised interview on the evening of Friday, June 20, 2025.
According to the R&B star, the connection he felt when he first laid eyes on Priscillia was intense and completely unexplainable. He described it as a natural emotion that struck him immediately, prompting him to act without hesitation. For Jux, it was a once-in-a-lifetime moment he couldn’t ignore.
“It was a feeling I’ve never experienced before,” he said. “The moment I saw her, I just knew she was the one. I didn’t want to waste time, because the emotions were unlike anything I had felt before.”
Their romance began unexpectedly at an airport in Rwanda. Jux had missed his flight and, frustrated, found himself near the business class lounge — where Priscillia happened to be seated. She laughed at his visible irritation, and that lighthearted moment sparked the beginning of their relationship.
“The first time I saw her, I was annoyed because I couldn’t get a seat in business class. Then I noticed her laughing at my situation — and just like that, something clicked,” Jux recalled.
Their whirlwind love story quickly blossomed. The couple exchanged vows in an elegant white wedding ceremony on April 20, 2025. This came just a few months after their traditional marriage, which took place in Tanzania in February of the same year.
