Football Kenya Federation (FKF) President Hussein Mohammed on Friday presided over the graduation of 51 General Service Unit (GSU) officers who completed a three-day CAF Safe Stadia Initiative training at the National Police Service Campus B.

The training marks a key step in Kenya’s preparation for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN), which the country will co-host with Tanzania and Uganda.

FKF President Hussein praised the milestone, calling it a long-awaited collaboration.
“For 21 years, I’ve looked for this partnership. These officers will help in crowd control, match-day management, and in professionalizing the game,” he said.

Chief Instructor Mumo Musyoka reaffirmed the campus’s support, noting their readiness to train more officers.
