Deputy president Kithure Kindiki on Wednesday chaired a joint meeting bringing together key Cabinet Committees in a move aimed at enhancing coordination and accelerating delivery of government priorities.
The meeting, held at his official residence in Karen, brought together the Cabinet Committees on Governance, Social Sector and Public Administration, and Finance, Infrastructure, Lands and the Production Economy.
Speaking after the session, DP Kindiki emphasized the importance of synergy among ministries and agencies to ensure efficient service delivery and the implementation of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda.
“This joint session reflects our commitment to ensuring that every arm of government is aligned and responsive to the needs of Kenyans. We are consolidating efforts to deliver tangible results in infrastructure, health, education, and economic empowerment,” said the Deputy President.
The meeting focused on aligning fiscal planning with ongoing reforms in governance and service delivery, as well as reviewing progress on flagship projects.
The Deputy President has increasingly been at the forefront of spearheading government development strategies and pushing for results-based performance from public officers.
