Real estate firm Willstone Homes has awarded official title deeds to homeowners in a landmark ceremony, underscoring its commitment to affordable housing and wealth creation through property ownership.
The event brought together homeowners from estates such as Brookview 1 and Brookview 2, marking a new chapter for clients now recognized as legal landowners.
Speaking at the event, Willstone Homes Managing Director Ejidio Kinyanjui hailed the occasion as one of the most significant in the company’s eight-year history.“This is not just about giving homes anymore—it’s about giving our clients full ownership documentation,” said Kinyanjui. “Today marks a new phase where the process of asset processing truly begins.”
He noted the significant appreciation of property value across Willstone’s developments, with homes initially sold at KSh 5.5 million now valued at over KSh 12 million. “That’s proof that real estate is a worthwhile investment,” he said, citing the returns as a strong incentive for early investors.
Willstone Homes has carved a niche in the market by targeting clients excluded from conventional financing. The company offers an 18-month interest-free payment plan, attracting self-employed individuals and entrepreneurs who may not qualify for traditional bank mortgages.“Our model was designed as an alternative to mortgages,” Kinyanjui explained. “Structured payments have made homeownership more accessible to many.”Despite economic challenges including high taxes, rising construction costs, and tight liquidity, the company has adopted cost-saving strategies to maintain affordability.
These include in-house manufacturing of cabro blocks, drainage systems, and road curbs—cutting down on outsourcing expenses.
Kinyanjui also highlighted growing interest from the Kenyan diaspora and foreign investors from countries such as Sudan and Congo. He attributed this trend to Kenya’s stable investment climate and the lucrative returns in its real estate sector.
The real estate firm remains focused on delivering client-centric housing solutions and contributing to Kenya’s broader affordable housing agenda. Many clients, the company says, have returned to purchase second and third properties, cementing long-term trust in the brand.
