Kapsaret MP Oscar Sudi has launched a sharp verbal attack on Public Service Cabinet Secretary Justin Muturi, accusing him of political blackmail and urging him to resign.

In a fiery social media post, Sudi dismissed Muturi’s recent warning about the increasing cases of abductions in the country as a desperate attempt to remain politically relevant.

“This desperate move, made now that your political career has waned, is a clear blackmail attempt,” Sudi wrote. “The timing is highly suspicious, revealing a coward man clutching at straws for political expedience.”

Sudi also took a personal jab at Muturi, referencing the legal troubles of the CS’s son.

“In regards to your son’s woes, who is my agemate, kwani alishikwa bure? [Was he arrested without cause?]” Sudi asked, implying that the son’s situation was justified.

The outspoken MP went further, suggesting that Muturi’s role could easily be filled by others.

“There are many professionals from Embu County who can serve the country with zeal. You can ship out,” Sudi added.

Muturi, a former Speaker of the National Assembly, has been vocal recently about the government’s handling of security issues, particularly the rising cases of abductions.
