William Ruto

President William Ruto will address the nation on Thursday evening in a Special National Address expected to focus on Kenya’s future.

The address will be delivered at 7pm from State House, Nairobi.

According to State House, the President is expected to outline his long term vision for Kenya’s economic transformation.

The speech is also expected to highlight the government’s plans to grow the economy, create jobs and attract more investment.

The address comes just hours after Ruto held a late night consultation meeting with Deputy President Kithure Kindiki at State House.

State House has not disclosed what the two leaders discussed. However, the meeting has sparked interest ahead of the President’s address.

Kenyans are now waiting to hear whether the President will unveil new policies or make major announcements on the economy and other national issues.

The speech comes at a time when the government is under pressure to accelerate economic growth, lower the cost of living and create more opportunities for young people.

More details are expected once the President delivers his address at 7pm.
