West Ham have completed the signing of former Newcastle and Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson on a one-year contract.
The 33-year-old joined as a free agent after leaving Newcastle United at the end of last season, having failed to agree terms on a new deal.
Last season, he made just 18 Premier League appearances, largely playing second fiddle to Alexander Isak.
Wilson successfully passed a medical on Saturday before putting pen to paper on a season-long deal with the Hammers.

“There’s a lot of talent in the squad, and with the gaffer [Graham Potter] coming in, he’s uniting everyone to push in the same direction—to finish as high as possible in the league.”
Wilson earned nine England caps between 2018 and 2023 and scored 49 goals in 130 appearances for Newcastle after his £20 million move from Bournemouth in 2020.
He was on the radar of other Premier League clubs and also drew interest from MLS, but ultimately opted to join West Ham.
Wilson is the latest addition in a busy summer for the Hammers, who have already brought in Jean-Clair Todibo, El Hadji Malick Diouf, Kyle Walker-Peters, and Daniel Cummings. The club also holds an interest in Aston Villa midfielder Jacob Ramsey.
