Kenyan socialite and businesswoman Vera Sidika, popularly known as Queen Vee Bosset, has reacted to fresh criticism regarding her co-parenting setup with ex-lover Brown Mauzo.
Moving to her Instagram stories, Vera debunked claims she denies the father of her children access to them. In her post, she referred to such rumors as “primitive thinking” and explained that she would never hinder a father willing to see his children.
“This is such backward thinking. I thank God I’m not the kind of woman who would deny a father access to his children, because of this kind of primitive reasoning,” Vera wrote.
The debate was sparked after a fan questioned Vera’s earlier remarks and speculated that Brown Mauzo has not been helpful financially. Another critic asked why she would still allow him access to the children if he does not care for them.
Vera’s fans pointed out that most children benefit emotionally when both parents are in their lives, irrespective of financial differences. “Some people just want watoto wapate love ya both parents… siyo kila kitu ni pesa,” wrote one user.
