The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has unveiled the refurbished Hustler Centre, the political nerve centre that played a key role during President William Ruto’s successful 2022 presidential campaign, as it steps up preparations for future political mobilization.

UDA Secretary General Hassan Omar Hassan toured the renovated facility, describing it as the new coordination hub for strategy, mobilisation and campaign planning for the Broad-based Government.

According to the party, the refurbished Hustler Centre will host campaign coordination meetings, strategic planning sessions and programmes aimed at advancing the Broad-Based Government’s political agenda across the country.

“The refurbished Hustler Centre will serve as a space for strategy and mobilisation for the joint Broad-based government campaigns and an epicentre for campaign coordination, programmes, and meetings,”statement read.

During the visit, Senator Hassan Omar also held talks with Generali Nixon Korir on the implementation of the Broad-Based Government’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).

The discussions focused on the delivery of government programmes as well as political strategies tailored to Nairobi’s diverse constituencies and demographic groups, with the leaders expressing confidence in the administration’s development record.

Korir said President William Ruto remains well positioned for re-election, citing what he described as the government’s inclusive development agenda and the progress made in infrastructure, economic empowerment and service delivery across different parts of the country.

The reopening of the Hustler Centre signals UDA’s renewed efforts to consolidate its grassroots structures and strengthen campaign coordination as political parties gradually begin laying the groundwork for the 2027 General Election.

The centre became synonymous with President Ruto’s 2022 presidential bid, serving as the party’s original headquarters and a key command centre during the campaign that propelled him to the presidency.
