The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) has pledged to work with youth-led movements such as Warembo Na Ruto to expand party membership and strengthen grassroots structures across Kenya.

The party said the collaboration will also deepen civic education and create more opportunities for young Kenyans to participate in shaping its agenda at the county level.

The Warembo Na Ruto Lobby Group, whose members are drawn from every constituency in Uasin Gishu County, visited the UDA headquarters at Hustler Plaza.

According to the party, the youth movement has mobilised thousands of young people to register as UDA members within their respective electoral units, contributing to the strengthening of grassroots networks.

The group was hosted by UDA Director for Women Affairs, Training and Civic Education Margaret Ndanyi, alongside Director for Devolution and County Affairs Omulo Junior. The delegation was led by the party’s Regional Administrator, Abraham Kipchumba.

UDA said continued engagement with youth-led groups will help broaden participation in party activities while giving young people a greater stake in the party’s present and future agenda.
