Kenyan hip-hop artist Stivo Simple Boy has taken to social media to dispel speculations regarding his car ownership after fans raised an eyebrow about the number of cars he owns.

Social media last week was full of rumors after Stivo was seen in photos with different cars, with some fans speculating that he may be buying himself a new car every other day or just running after clout. Even a single fan had a joke at the expense of whether he had enough parking for his “fleet.”

He responded by going onto his Instagram stories, sharing official documents to confirm that the new vehicle, which is a Nissan March, rightfully belongs to him. The sale agreement of the vehicle, whose name is correctly recorded as belonging to him, states that the rapper deposited KSh 87,000 upfront, with the balance of KSh 29,000 to be settled this month.

Kwa vijana maneno ya kiki tuliacha, issues sasa iko konyo konyo. Family na management iko kidete,” he captioned, showing his stern intention of having no interest in running after clout, but growing himself step by step.

The move got a variety of reactions on the internet. Some fans appreciated him for showing receipts and disproving rumors, but others were still jokingly teasing him about the condition of the cars and whether he might have just purchased one newer car instead.
