Musician Stivo Simple Boy, has launched the Simple Boy Foundation, a new initiative focused on empowering youth through education and job creation.
The foundation’s mission is to help young people overcome challenges like unemployment and lack of educational opportunities, while also tackling issues such as drug abuse.
In announcing the launch, Stivo shared that the foundation plans to offer free short courses to primary and high school graduates, with a focus on vocational training and mentorship programs.
Stivo also called on schools that withhold students’ certificates due to unpaid fees to reconsider their actions, pointing out how such practices hinder the youth from pursuing their dreams. He emphasized that when one student succeeds, the entire community benefits.
Mtoto akifaulu, jamii nzima inafaulu,” he urged.
Stivo Simple Boy first gained fame with his hit song “Mihadarati,” and has since continued to release music that resonates with young people, including songs like “Freshi Barida.”
