Engineer Level Four Hospital in South Kinangop has launched a campaign to combat vaccine hesitancy and boost uptake of life-saving vaccines in the region.

The health facility has partnered with local leaders and stakeholders to promote acceptance and uptake of life-saving vaccines.

Speaking during the meeting, , South Kinangop Assistant County Commissioner Jackson Ombati, called on the community to seize the opportunity now that the government has expanded access to vaccines.

The hospital is set to adopt a multi-sectoral approach, engaging religious institutions, advocacy groups, community influencers, and health professionals to counter misinformation and cultural myths fueling vaccine rejection.
