Kenyan gospel singer and media personality Size 8 has opened up about one of the most challenging periods in her marriage — and the emotional toll it took on her young daughter, Ladasha Wambo.
In a heartfelt interview aired on a local TV program, the artist, whose real name is Linet Munyali, revealed that she and her husband, DJ Mo, went through a rough season that nearly ended in divorce. At the time, tensions were so high that she even sought legal counsel to explore separation.
But a pivotal moment with DJ Mo’s mother made her reconsider. “She gave me perspective and reminded me of what truly matters,” Size 8 said, recalling the wisdom and comfort she received from her mother-in-law.
Amid the marital strain, it was their daughter’s reaction that truly broke her heart. Ladasha, unaware of the deeper issues between her parents, had a breakdown at school — overwhelmed with emotions and missing her father deeply.
“That moment changed everything for me,” Size 8 shared. “She may survive without me, but not without her dad. Their bond is unshakable.”
The singer reflected on the importance of prioritizing her children’s emotional well-being and the strength it took to fight for her family. Today, she praises DJ Mo’s dedication to fatherhood, calling him “a dad and a half.”
