President William Ruto has urged Mt. Kenya leaders to prioritize supporting county governments in fulfilling their mandates, cautioning them against engaging in political supremacy battles.
Speaking on Saturday during a breakfast meeting at State House, Nairobi, Ruto emphasized that the leaders should focus on serving the people and delivering on their campaign promises.
This meeting with a section of Mt. Kenya leaders took place ahead of Ruto’s scheduled development tour of Kirinyaga County on Saturday.

During his visit to Kirinyaga, the President is set to break ground for the construction of the Sagana Industrial Park and launch a Last Mile Connectivity project in Kang’aru. Additionally, he will inaugurate the Kiangungu TVET and the Baricho-Kagumo-Gathuthuma-Kangaita road.
