President William Ruto has congratulated Andy Burnham following his appointment as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, expressing confidence that the leadership transition will strengthen ties between Nairobi and London.
In a statement, Ruto wished Burnham success as he takes on the new role, describing his appointment as the culmination of a distinguished career in public service and a demonstration of people-centred leadership. The president noted that Burnham’s leadership values closely align with Kenya’s Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda.
