President William Ruto has called on all arms of government to be at the forefront in fighting corruption. Speaking on Wednesday during the commemoration of Katiba Day at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC), the head of state expressed concern that corruption is deeply entrenched in all the arms of government, eroding trust and undermining the constitution.

He called for prosecution of all those involved in corruption as long as there is evidence.At the same time he called on governors to help the national government in resource mobilization to ease the burden on the national government.

The President also committed to ensure the constitution that was attained under difficult circumstances is fully implemented and protected.

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga lauded the milestones Kenya had achieved under the 2010 constitution.
