Rapper Offset has been hospitalized after being shot on Monday outside a casino in Florida. He is stable but his condition is still unknown, under medical care closely being monitored a spokesperson for the rapper has confirmed. Authorities confirmed that the scene was quickly secured and investigations into the circumstances surrounding the attack are ongoing.
Offset was shot at the Valet Area of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. The Seminole Police Department said a person sustained injuries that were not life threatening and are yet to identify the victim. Two persons have been detained by police as investigation are on-going to know the cause of it.
“The site is secure and there is no threat to the public,” police said in a statement, adding that investigations are still underway.
Offset become famous from one of the most popular hip-hop, “Versace”, 2013 and later Grammy nominations for best rap album with 2018’s, “Culture”, while a track off it nabbed a nod for best rap performance.
Offsets whose real names is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, was secretly married to fellow rapper Cardi B, 2017 in Atlanta. Later on 2024, Cardi B announced that she filed for a divorce.
