President William Ruto has disbursed KSh 10 million to sustain the 220 needy students at PCEA Booth Girls’ High School in Ngong Forest.

The disbursement is a fulfillment of President Ruto’s promise to sponsor the said students’ entire four-year education program.

The head of state made the commitment to educate the leaders on March 13, 2025, during the commissioning of the institution.

The released KSh 10 million will cater to the learners’ school fees, uniforms, shopping and pocket money.

“For the next four years, these will be my children. It does not matter who brought them. I will treat them equally,” President Ruto said.

On Thursday, May 1, the head of state hosted the Booth Girls’ students, their parents and teachers at State House Nairobi, for breakfast, where he advocated for equal access to quality education, especially for learners from vulnerable backgrounds.

It is worth noting that President Ruto has made a commitment to sponsor 10 vulnerable girls from each of the 17 constituencies in Nairobi County.
