Police officers have intercepted a vehicle along Wangari Mathai Road in Nairobi and recovered suspected cannabis sativa valued at approximately KSh420,000.
The incident ocured on Sunday when officers on patrol investigated the vehicle and found two suspects with cannabis.
The suspects were arrested during the operation and taken to Parklands Police Station.
Furthermore, police have confirmed that they’re investigating whether the suspects have been transporting drugs.
The National Police Service said the interception forms part of ongoing efforts to disrupt drug-trafficking networks and curb the distribution of illicit substances in thecountry.
