The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) will be the chief cheerleader of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) candidates in the by-elections.

This is in line with the Political Accommodation B.B. agreement between the two parties that is well known in the country.

Deputy President Prof. Kithure Kindiki announced the news of the development on Friday during an economic empowerment drive in Kasipul, Homabay County. Chief Deputy President Kindiki was joined during his political tour by the top ODM leadership.
He was confident that the two parties would maintain their cordial relations by supporting each other’s candidates.

Prof. Kindiki also said that the UDA party will be very pleased to have the ODM Kenya work and vice versa.

“This kind of alliance will help us to implement the development agenda in all parts of the country. We expect to see the fruits of this cooperation partnership soon,” the Deputy President noted.

ODM has nominated candidates to vie for the parliamentary seats in Kasipul, Ugunja, and Magarini constituencies, while UDA plans to have candidates contest in Malava, Banisa, and Mbeere North constituencies for the Baringo senatorial seat and in Baringo senatorial seat, UDA will field candidates UDAParty will have candidates in Malava, Banisa, and Mbeere North to run for Baringo senatorial seat.

Among the other Kasipul events, Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo and a few members of Parliament encouraged the people of the region to be indifferent to the obstruction efforts of the opposition politicians who want to cut off the region from government programs. They assured that the government remains committed to the revival of the road projects and the implementation of the development initiatives that are already in place in the area.

One of the most notable changes about the Broad-Based Government is the close partnership between the ODM and UDA, which is a major step towards reconciliation, stability, and increased socio-economic welfare for the entire Republic of ​‍​‌‍​‍‌​‍​‌‍​‍‌Kenya.
