Beatrice Wambui known for her role as Neema in ‘Neema’ drama series has revealed details about her departure from the popular show.
The famous actress shared a photo on social media, attracting attention from the online community. One fan identified as big.mama-bobo expressed hurt after Beatrice’s sudden exit from Neema series. She wrote on social media,
“How could you leave us hanging on Citizen TV?” followed by a series of heartbreak emojis.
Beatrice told the fan that details about her departure would be disclosed soon. “Don’t worry… you’ll soon know the truth. Thanks. I also miss my job,” she replied, suggesting that she, too, was affected by her departure from the series and that an explanation might be on the way.
Another fan asked her on Tiktok why she decided to leave the show. On a Tiktok video she replied that,
‘Not by choice. I just saw a replacement in the morning. #cruel,”
The actress’s time was cut short barely four months after the series commenced. The production company dubbed Jiffy Pictures that was behind the ‘Neema’ series announced that Dorea Chege would take over her role.
Last month actress Dorea Chege announced that she would take up on a new role in the ‘Neema’ drama series. Her husband DJ Dibull revealed,
” Our baby is back on TV. On a show on Citizen TV. She has gone back home. “
Dorea shared how excited she was. She shared, “I am super excited. And I just want to say, Jehovah, receive all the glory and honour because we have seen your hand. Get to watch me from every Monday to Friday, and I have a very big role,” she said.
