Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has reiterated the importance of unity and collaboration in driving Kenya’s development agenda following a meeting with Baringo North MP Joseph Makilap.
The two leaders held discussions focused on accelerating development projects in Baringo North Constituency and the wider Baringo County, with emphasis on improving infrastructure, enhancing livelihoods and expanding economic opportunities for residents.
Mudavadi said meaningful development is achieved when leaders work closely with the people they serve, adding that strong partnerships and responsive leadership are critical to delivering lasting progress across the country.
“Our conversation focused on fast-tracking key development projects that will improve infrastructure, strengthen livelihoods and create more economic opportunities for local communities,” Mudavadi said.
The meeting also delved into the country’s political landscape, where the two leaders underscored the need for national unity, collaboration and sustained grassroots engagement ahead of the 2027 General Election.
According to Mudavadi, they reaffirmed their commitment to mobilizing support for President William Ruto’s re-election bid, saying continuity of the Kenya Kwanza administration’s development agenda would help sustain ongoing projects and economic transformation.
The Prime Cabinet Secretary maintained that placing development at the centre of national discourse remains key to improving public service delivery, creating jobs and fostering inclusive economic growth across the country.
The meeting comes as Kenya Kwanza leaders intensify consultations with elected leaders and grassroots stakeholders as political activities gather momentum ahead of next year’s General Election.
