National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetangula has congratulated Justice Mohammed Warsame following his appointment to the Supreme Court of Kenya.
In a statement, Wetang’ula praised Justice Warsame’s distinguished judicial career spanning more than two decades, describing him as a highly respected legal mind whose commitment to justice has inspired both the legal fraternity and the nation.
The Speaker noted that Warsame’s extensive experience, integrity and deep understanding of the law would greatly strengthen the country’s apex court and contribute significantly to the development of Kenya’s jurisprudence.
“Your distinguished service of over twenty-two years, defined by profound legal acumen and an unwavering commitment to justice, stands as an enduring source of inspiration to the legal fraternity and the nation at large,”statement read
Wetang’ula further expressed confidence that the judge would play a key role in safeguarding the Constitution and upholding the rule of law as a member of the Supreme Court.
“Your wisdom, integrity and judicious temperament will further enrich our jurisprudence and safeguard the Constitution,” Wetang’ula stated.
The Speaker, who described himself as a fellow learned friend, wished Justice Warsame success as he takes up the new responsibility in service to the Republic.
