The Wajesus Family, a popular content creation duo on YouTube, recently shared a deeply personal moment with their fans, revealing Milly’s battle with postpartum depression following her latest pregnancy. In a video posted on their channel on Monday, March 10, 2025, Milly reflected on her challenging journey, shedding light on the emotional struggles she faced during and after her pregnancy.

Milly openly admitted that her most recent pregnancy was especially tough, filled with emotional highs and lows that she initially couldn’t understand. She shared that, at the time, she didn’t even realize she was experiencing postpartum depression.

During the therapy session featured in the video, Milly was asked by the therapist if she had ever had dark thoughts during her pregnancy. This question led her to open up about a particularly hard period in her life. Milly recalled moments in early January when she felt overwhelmed, saying, “I remember in the first weeks of January, I had moments where I thought, ‘What if I just walked away and left these children behind?’ I felt like they were the reason I was feeling that way. I questioned whether I was capable of taking care of them on my own. It was one of the darkest thoughts I’ve ever had, but to be honest, nothing beyond that.”

She also revealed the strain this caused in her relationship with her husband, Kabi. Milly shared how she tried to explain her emotional struggles to him, only to be met with disbelief. “I had arguments with Kabi where I told him, ‘Do you know I went through depression?’ And he was like, ‘Why are you pretending? You just want to be like other women who say they are depressed.’ That really hurt me,” Milly confessed, adding that his response made her feel even more isolated in her struggle.

Through this honest video, The Wajesus Family is helping to normalize conversations around mental health and the challenges of parenthood. Milly’s openness about her postpartum experience serves as a reminder that seeking help and talking about mental health is vital, even for those who seem to have it all together.
