Antoine Semenyo is poised to decide his future as Manchester City step up talks over a potential January move for the Bournemouth forward.
Sources indicate City have made significant progress in recent days and are increasingly confident of landing the 25-year-old attacker.
Semenyo, who has a £65 million release clause, has also attracted interest from four other Premier League clubs.
Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea have all made enquiries at various stages.
However, United’s interest has cooled amid expectations that Semenyo is heading to Pep Guardiola’s side, while Chelsea chose not to pursue a deal.
Liverpool are understood to have checked on the terms of a possible transfer and could yet intensify their interest following Alexander Isak’s broken leg.
Tottenham, meanwhile, are seen as outsiders in the race for the Ghana international.
Semenyo joined Bournemouth in 2023 from Bristol City and will turn 26 on January 7, with clubs aware he is entering the prime years of his career.
