The Maa community has been thrown into a state of shock following the sudden death of content creator Gracious Teiyan Meyoki, whose untimely passing has left friends, relatives, and fans stunned.
Citizen TV journalist Stephen Letoo was among those who gave from the heart, expressing that he had interviewed Teiyan one week before she died. In his touching farewell speech, Letoo explained how Teiyan had invited him and others to the party of her boyfriend Paul Simat’s graduation.
“My heart is shattered and broken. In shock, last night I was informed of the untimely death of my friend Gracious Teyian Meyoki. When we last talked to her last week, she had invited me among all her other friends to witness the graduation ceremony of Paul Simat. Her passing on after such a short illness is not only a major blow to the family but to the entire Maa community. I can only imagine how much suffering the family must be going through now. As we say goodbye to her on, let’s pray for them and offer them all the support they need. Rest Easy, Gracious Teiyan was a loved one,” he shared.
Teiyan was also reported to have complained about headaches before she was taken to hospital. She was hospitalized on Sunday, but unfortunately, her condition worsened, leading to her premature death.
The news triggered shock waves of grief online, with people remembering her as a young vibrant and full-of-life woman whose presence lightened up every room she entered.
